I don't want kanto because kanto is boring. Despite starting my journey with gen2 and 1 right after, I always found Kanto boring. It has nothing of interest bar lavender town/tower.
I don't want Kanto because with so many replicas of Kanto shit, I might as well have already gotten the gist of a remade Kanto. And it's still boring.
To you folks who believe the switch graphics are going to be more than HD Alola, ...ehh... well good luck with that future disappointment. They will surely update and upgrade to something more, but not with the 1st switch titles. Historically, the last pokemon game on a system is what determines the graphics for the 1st pokemon game on the new system (and it's always a HD version of the last with slightly updated graphics to match the system).
Even furthermore, I don't like the Kanto pokedex for the most part, I'm sick of seeing kanto pokemon after the alolan pokedex had more species from kanto than any other region(including alola itself). I will be bored seeing every trainer use kanto stuff with the occasional other-gen mon (that's if they don't shove other gen pokemon for postgame).
Honestly, unless they are going to make a Kanto 10years later (to match aged Red/Blue) with many changed cities/buildings AND story, I wouldn't even pirate that shit because I just don't like Kanto and I don't want to see more Kanto.
