Should I just get silver? I got Gold already, but I feel like something else. Recommend me mon's to use.

It's up to personal preference, in my opinion they're worse because they don't fix any of the flaws from the originals and instead tacked on some minigames to make up for it.

I might just restart so I can afford to purchase more balls. I also bought the VC Silver, but haven’t started it yet. Now I hear they’re about to release Crystal? That was my favorite game as a kid.

I like HGSS, but I have to agree. Nostalgia maybe but GSC feels comfier. It helps to play GB sounds in HGSS but it sucks that it's such a late in-game item.

The HGSS music is a bit embellished and less catchy. The Gameboy music was good because you could hum it so easily.

I like to judge different games by their battle themes since it's what you hear most of the time while you're playing, and HGSS really shines with those. They all get me really pumped up.

I grew up with Gen 2 as my first pokemon generation. It's my nostalgia, it's the equivalent to Gen 1 fags.
HGSS is a great game and it goes well and beyond.
I'm sad I lost Kris, but HGSS has so much minigames and so much content overall that it set the gold standard for a Pokemon game.
It's why people disliked BW initially because it was barren as fuck.
