Just played this. It was okay, I guess, except for Nuclear Type (hits everything except steel and nuclear for x2 damage, hit by everything except nuclear for x2 damage, breaks the game), 60% of the designs, and the fact that they can't balance anything.
Look at the starter megas.
1. Fast Primal Groundon
2. Fast Primal Kyogre with STAB Thunder
3. Fast Ferrothorn
Every fucking Pokemon is broken, especially the megas. Basically, they added points to speed and attack and called it a day. A few of the megas are balanced, but most are bad.
Who designed the stats for these and why is everything a speed demon? The attempt to balance Nuclear Type is bad, while everything does hit it for super effective damage, you can hit back for usually x4 damage, since every fucking thing is dual type. This is supposed to be balanced out by most Nuclear Pokemon not having high power Nuclear type moves, or Nuclear moves that correspond to their lower attacking stat, but it just doesn't work, especially with coverage. What went wrong during designing this?
