This game made Lillie even worse, and I hated her before. Not only that but it made Lusamine a stupid bitch. Instead of a psycho bitch. Who I found quite enjoyable, because I wanted to beat her up. It just didn't make sense.
The whole story didn't make sense. Last game I was screaming at Lillie for wanting to save her mum, but at least that was understandable. This game I was screaming at her for condoning rape! Seriously, what was up with that?
The URS were fun characters, but felt tacked on. The whole story should have been an episode, and the episode we did get should have been longer. You easily could have fleshed it out with Looker. Instead he was just some random. The whole Faller thing would have really helped the narrative of RR. At the end of it I was left with too many questions. The only thing I did get out of that was Giovanni being Chicken's dad and how good of a twist that would have been.
Over all, the little things they added were nice and indeed some fun. I always did like the characters and setting for SM but ultimately USUM is a worse and pointless version of the original. In the end it left me as frustrated as XY. This was their chance to capitalise on the potential the games had, and they blow it.
