The four islands of the one region are much larger, have their own Pokemon native to them, and are mostly filled entirely with cities and inhabitants. Sevii islands are just routes with johto mons and a small side quest to acquire the ability to trade with 2/5 of the other games in the generation.

And nor do hackers. It always killed me that there's no good Sevii hack (that fanfic tier bullshit "Korosu" doesn't count as nowhere near decent). Not even Red++ and Polished Crystal authors hate it for some reason and prefer putting other shit to their hacks.
