Not my idea, but the friend who had this idea doesn't visit /vp/ so I'm presenting it as mine anyway.
The 'team' leader is a uppity ojou-sama, and the thing she hates most in the world is bugs and bug-type pokemon. Her daddy is an omega corporate businessman, so he coddles his daughter, gives her everything she asks for, but has no idea what she actually does.
Basically, Ojousama uses daddy's money to get a team of scientists to develop a weapon of mass destruction that will destroy nothing but every single bug-type pokemon (and non-pokemon insects).
She doesn't care about the ecological consequences. In fact, she's got a bunker ready in case the environment goes to shit.
