GOD TIER
2 - best bugs based only on Scizor, Shuckle, and Heracross -- perfect designs -- Yanma, Forretress, Ledyba, etc. are all cool, too
5 - Bug renaissance after two lackluster generations. All around strong designs, with Volcarona, Scolipede, Galvantula, and Genesect standing out even over other fantastic and original bugs (like Swadloon or Crustle)
1 - Classic bugs, Scyther, Pinsir, Beedrill, Paras, Venonat, etc. -- helps that bugs make up nearly a tenth of the dex in this gen
7 - Golisopod and Buzzwole rule, Grubbin is cute, Cutiefly is 10/10
(even if Rimbombee fucking blows)3 - Wurmple's cute, Nincada line is cool
4 - practically no good bugs, but with standout Yanmega
6 - practically no bugs
