Should have limited them to STABs + statuss moves
They just gave top tier threats a way to break past anything that walls them and are completely unbalanced imo

Yeah, I watched both pokemon and digimon back in the day and, like, half the episode in digimon is recycled footage of them digivolving. Kids don't mind seeing the same thing over and over again. Hell, when I was even younger than that I watched the same speed Racer video over and over until it broke.

Yeah but most of the pokemon got banned because they were abusing a Z-Move. BL is mostly stuff like gyarados and salamence which would be fair under the current metagame if not for Z-Moves sending them over the top. And Naganadel and pheromosa were both banned for their Z-Move sets. Marshadow's best set when it was OU was its Z-Move set, but that guy was broken even without it. I think the only two pokemon banned that didn't prominently feature a Z-Move set were Landorus-Genie form and Aegislash. And if you go to UU all you add for stuff that wasn't abusing a Z-Move are some random megas like Slowbro and Gallade.
