It also means you're only punished for manual switches, and the follow up pokemon to a previous pokemon fainting doesn't take damage letting a sweeper snowball through a bunch of pokemon that get a free 30% shaved off by rocks and spikes

Because its shit, its always been shit ever since gen 1. Smogon and Vgc is spamming the same 10 or so min maxed pokemon with cookie cutter movesets over and over again. Its stale and half the moves are banned because its not some assmad weeaboo communities idea of fun.

This is a stupid comparison and is more a problem of there not being enough tiers for unown to be usable. Hell, it's more a problem of unown existing because it will always be useless and will always be in the lowest available tier. If you think banning stealth rocks is a good idea then you've never played against fat teams. Changing stealth rock's effectiveness, however would work but GF will never change it.
