Basically what the battle tower and battle subway were. You start fighting against sub-400 BST prevos, then you fight 400+ BST prevos (Murkrow, most mid evos, Ponyta, etc) and other mid-tier fully evolved mons (Staraptor, Raticate, Toucannon, Kingler, etc), and finally you fight against the strong or 500+ BST ones.

Battle something relating to graveyards? Battle Catacombs? Like an underground Celestial Tower. Only people that are at least somewhat close to their pokemon are allowed. Anyone else who tries to come in will be overwhelmed and possibly lost to a swarm of ghost and dark types. New challengers may bring a flash or illuminate pokemon or borrow one owned by the facility. All the facility ones are staryu, lampent, litwick or sableye. Onewould mostly navigate the various halls. They are full of random ghost and dark pokemon as well as the rare galvantula who may set perma sticky webs and then run away if not knocked out. Every so often the player is given the choice of leaving a flower or other random item towards whatever grave they currently face. If they agree they are given one healing item(including a chance at elixer or full heal) and a starmie may appear to spin the webs away. The workers are all chandlers, psychics and especially hex maniacs that ask the challenger weirdly personal questions. All the questions strictly retain to the battles they had in the past, how the pokemon felt and what moves they used. If answered correctly they player has their team fully healed. If they fail the question they face the worker in battle and if they win the worker will heal pokemon but not cure statuses. Should the challenger carry a pokemon with Return then their critical hit rate will increase. Toward the end the player will enter a room filled with flower petals and a large hole in the roof. From the hole a random kami(mirage Tao dragon in hard) will appear and attack the player in a totem-like battle with stats boosted. If the player looses they will be congratulated still and have a random cofagrigus vomit a nugget(big nugget in harder modes) for them to keep. Should they win. They will be given a nugget and a rest period and be allowed to swap one of their pokemon for another(with minimal happiness level requirements) before facing the frontier brain.

The pokemon you choose from have different typings than usual.
So you might get a fire oddish or a steel weedle
