BUT, you're wrong when you assert that a Pokemon with Huge Power has its BASE attack doubled. It does not do that. There is no way to claim that a Pokemon with a base attack of 50 and Huge Power "effectively" has a base attack stat of 100. As this person mentioned (
>>34464018), at a bare minimum, you're ending up with an attack stat that would imply a different base attack stat. So there's no real way or sense in trying to act as if Huge Power effects the Base stat in any real way. Huge Power Azumarill has a different amount of power than a Pokemon with 100 base attack, there is no point in trying to equate them.
I swear to god if you respond to this with "but Azumarill shouldn't be counted" I'm going to lose my shit, I don't know how much clearer I could be. That is not what I'm arguing, I'm arguing that you're misunderstanding how Huge Power is incorporated into final attack stat.
