Here we go: Krabby, Omanyte x2, Weedle, Exeggcute, Diglett x2, Nuzleaf x2, Medicham, Abomasnow x2, Crustle, Heliolisk, Nidoran Male and Magcargo. Most of these were obtained yesterday and earlier today.

It's a matter of luck. I've got 2 shinies legendaries in 5 days and my friend has gotten like 7-8 shinies in the same period of time.

It's all RNG. You can get the shiny within one encounter or more than 7,000. An example is from a YT stream I saw live recently by MandJTV who got a first encounter Reshiram, and Alex, aka HamsterBomb, has gone 9,185 SRs for Type: Null (unless the charm doesn't affect that). Personally, I've gone 4,402 SRs for Zekrom in Alpha Sapphire, even with the charm, but again, RNG is the deciding factor.

All legal Celebi ATM are shiny locked but Crystal on VC has the GS Ball enabled. The Celebi event in Crystal copies isn't shiny locked like gen 1 Mew is and so once Crystal hits, shiny Celebi will be legal.

Probably not the correct place to post this, but I figured it was the closest I could find. I moved my Living Dex from my Moon to Ultra Sun, and am trying to finish the dex to get my shiny charm. I was just hoping to touch-trade the new pokes from USUM (Piopole, Blacephelon, etc.). Is there anyone that would be willing to do that with me? I want to have my shiny charm while going through the game, and I just got far enough to be able to get it.

I'm the guy hunting litten since the official release. I just heard about the freezing bug when you choose litten. Since I still don't have found it. Does anyone know when is the game freezing exactly ? According to Serebii, it just says periodically after choosing it as your starter. I've chosen Litten as my starter in Ultra Sun and that didn't happen to me, so I couldn't tell you exactly when.

Its about damn time. We need more shiny pokemon that were not already available.
Shiny-locking is a cancerous function.
The biggest issue I have with Crustal is gen 2 did not have timer balls. Red onion would look great with the new bright red animation timer balls have. Pic unrelated, I just really like Lele.

not sure, i had the same fear, but i injected every pokemon i had left which was a slow process and got it officially from the game freak director. that way i also made sure that i had the director stamp my passport for all the stamps too. so all boxes ticked.

It's a mix of the shiny egg being determined far in advanced and having to spin the control stick while holding b for maximum efficiency, it requires more attention than just alternating left and right every 10 seconds.

As for Mew, the only way to get a Mew from gen 1 is to have an event Mew, OR to use arbitrary code execution to create a mew exactly like the event Mew in ENGLISH Gold/Silver

It does not. The shiny charm literally does nothing, it's the act of talking to the pokedex guy with a completed dex that triggers the increased shiny rate. If you really want the charm and dont want to recomplete the dex, you could always use pkhex to mark every pokemon as caught and talk to the guy like that. Just dont create shinies, that's scummy and kills the purpose.

Another fucking hunt in Gen 7 that is closing on 1000 eggs. Masuda Method. They seriously fucked with the odds this gen, and I do have the Shiny Charm. Its pathetic, disgusting and disrespectful. I got five times the number of MM shinies in X/Y and ORAS compared to these shit games. I used to love Shiny Hunting, but Gen 7 hunting with the Charm has been nothing but pure fucking cancer. Pardon the blog, but this frustration has just been building up.

If you already have two of them, I don't think it would be worth but if you want them again, go for it. You can skip Type:Null by filling all your boxes so you can't receive it. Then after the Rainbow Rocket episode, Wicke will be the in Aether Paradise and hunt Type:Null there.

I've been SRing for shiny legendaries and ultra beasts while working out, and without fail, I've encountered a shiny in about 1-3 hours, trending toward two if I had to guess. Is there some kind of bug where certain TSVs yield shinies more often? I'm not usually one for wild conspiracies, but it seems odd that all of my legendary shiny hunts would go so smoothly. Worst advice I've ever seen, especially if you're looking to SR for multiple Pokémon or if you just want to shiny hunt more generally. With all the ways you can trade for or mass transfer Pokémon, no one has any real excuse to not have a complete dex (you don't even need all 6900 Pokémon this time around). Also, if you get a living dex once, all you have to do is expand that dex each new generation, which isn't at all hard.

Aside from that, it sounds to me like you haven't caught them all, a bannable offense. Tell me you were just being facetious, anon.

You can start by breeding it with a female Ekans to have something that can breed in the Field egg group. Then when you get a shiny male Ekans, move onto something like Pikachu to have a male offspring in the Fairy egg group or any other Pokemon that is in two egg group that aren't Dragon or Field since those are covered. Otherwise, try to obtain a shiny Ditto to drastically improve your odds and not have to worry about chain breeding.

I actually left my 3DS in my room while going to shower and having not looked at the Poipole. I did this because today my chinese lesson told me 8 is a lucky number or something. I was so surprised when I got back to my room and saw the white and gold mon

I'm very hyped for Celebi, I will hunt it together with Darkrai. I got both Shaymin and Darkrai event items legit on my Platinium.

Blue Shaymin is waiting since 2014 to be transfered. I got it in 11000 RA back in the days. Can't wait for a fully legit shiny Darkrai

That's correct, except that you can get multiple of the same UBs whenever you go into their wormholes. With the legends, it's one shot if you catch them, and I think running away from them as well.

To further clarify, if you faint, catch or run away from a UB, you can get it later within another wormhole. UBs are unlimited.
