I hope it won't just be full Bavaria because those guys barely consider themselves German, and Germany has many other interesting places.

I would absolutely love a route based on the place where I am from, Ostfriesland, which is in the very northwest of Germany. Not just because I'd like my home to be in Pokemon, but also because it has potential for an interesting route mechanic. At the coast, called Wattenmeer, the tides are so significant, that during low tide you can actually walk to the seven islands some ten kilometers off the mainland.
I know they did something similar for one cave in Hoenn, but having an entire route based on that mechanic with a small town you can access on two different ways sounds very lovely. Plus, one of the islands is never accessible by foot, so it can still be the dedicated surfing spot.
