Well if anything i would say it's better than x and y but it's still not acceptable. A key item that lets you re-battle is not hard to implement at all.

We had that feature since gen 2, gen 2 with all the limitations and development problems had rematchable trainers and USM hyped as the "definitive version" didn't bother.

Why is Gamefreak only want us to battle weak trainers in only one area and Elite 4 members so much? Just let us rebattle almost everyone like in Gen 3.

Yeah, remembered that one, although they were just once a day.
I guess it's better than SM since its repeatable battles were trash but it's still noticeably below XY's restaurants and bastion.

Why do you need the Vs Seeker in USUM?

You can SOS Chansey if you need exp and you can sell expensive crap from Pelago for money.

Would be nice in SM where you got fuck all yet they dared to bring in a system that demands level 100 for the first time since 2003.

Chaining chanseys was admittedly faster than the usual fodder trainer grinding but it was also insanely boring, like everything related to SOS.

At least USUM made it way easier to get to lvl 100.
I'm also glad we can buy mega stones at the Battle Tree. I can finally use my bro again.

One thing I'll commend USUM for when it comes to grinding is obtaining BP. Getting all those mega stones in SM was mind-numbingly boring as you spent weeks fighting in that lame-ass tree or waiting for the Bank to fill them up for you.

In USUm we have double or triple the stones but thanks to mantine surfing I could get them all within a day - and still have some degree of fun in the way.
