>>34474062>The others were just Battle Tower knockoffs.Uh, wrong
Dome had a tournament format serving as a sort of precursor to the PWT.
Pike had you choose rooms where different events could happen such as starting a double battle, being healed, being afflicted with a status and so on.
Arena was a point based system where your moves would add or deduct points on top of that the mon chosen were made specifically to be tanky so it wouldn't be easy to take them out.
Palace was an auto battle based on the nature of your mons.
Pyramid was a giant maze with a specific theme with each run.
And then the factory was rental based.
For platinum which I'll admit was less inspired than Emerald's had
The Factory, again rental based.
The Arcade, where a gameboard determines what effects are set on you or your opponent.
The Castle which removed your items and had its own points used to buy items healing etc, basically a survival mode of sorts.
And the Hall where you would pick your type match up.
Now for USM there's the battle agency, rentals but with multiplayer forced in.
>About as much as USUM did, aka not much besides shoehorning in the title legendary at the very end.Aside from the fact that in Emerald
>both teams were antagonistic>Magma had a new lair>Magma also takes over the mossdeep space center>Scott's frequent appearances>both legendaries appear>Sky pillar is explored during the story>Wallace was the new championAs well as some minor changes like Vigoroth instead of Machoke in the beginning, a Zigzagoon chasing Birch and even changing things like the required steps for the Regi all to create differences between the originals and the new one.
Platinum now
>Looker's frequent appearances as well as Charon>Both Legends appearing>The distortion world>Hearthome Gym is now the fthird gym instead of fifth>Galactic Eterna building being redesignedAnd again, with minor changes like being stopped by Rowan and given your pokemon, meeting cyrus
