Fusions are highly impractical and unlikely to be included for anything that isn't an epic meme legendary any time soon.

Megas are like evolutions, progressing on one design. Fusing two designs in a satisfactory fashion takes a little more effort.
But I'm more concerned about the practicality of the item system. The Itemdex has gotten fucking retarded as it is. What do you propose to deal with fusions without bloating the itemdex any further, and without introducing yet another key item that has to be handed out by yet another specific NPC in every generation (since GF refuses to consolidate item and tutor NPCs)?
