The 2 URS members that visit Alola in your version help Aether develop Beast Balls, but before that they outright state how weird they find the concept of Poke Balls are. We also see that the Ultra Forest Kartenvoy doesn't use Poke Balls. Therefore, Ultra Space doesn't have Poke Balls. The Poipole you are given is from the other version's duo and thus not in a Beast Ball.

The Poipole you obtain is not the same Poipole you fight throughout the game. It's a gift from the opposite duo (who are from a world where Pokeballs don't exist) and thus just goes into whatever Pokeball you have available (from an in-universe perspective; I tested if getting rid of all your regular Poke Balls did anything and it doesn't).
