I like how both fusion 3rd Legendaries had the exact same thing happen. 1 fusion makes the Pokemon it fused with completely irrelevant. The other has fatal flaws that make it pretty shitty in comparison to most box legends.

While is Ultra Necrozma even ranked at all? It's just an in-battle alternate form of DM of DW Necrozma. Also unlike Megas it doesn't have an opportunity cost (if you use a mega you can't use another) so it's like ranking Meloetta-P separately from Meloetta.

For all intents and purposes, Ultra Necrozma's REAL rank is the same as the highest ranked Necrozma form, which is S.

No? It's pretty much exactly a mega. You press a button to change into another form, just like a mega. Primal Reversion also doesn't have the same opportunity cost a mega does, and yet they're ranked separately. The only real difference it has is that it has two base forms instead of one.

And honestly it's not that good.
Dragon/Psychic is a mediocre type both offensively and defensively, subpar bulk, can't use its Z-move on turn 1 drastically reducing its wallbreaking potential, lack of good Dragon STAB, very sparse and random offensive movepool and 129 base speed is still slower than Mewtwo and (especially) Mega Gengar.

You're missing the point.

If it wasn't for the fact that using a mega locks you from using another one, all megas would simply be treated as movesets for existing pokemon so there would be no need to rank them separately.

Ultra Necro is simply a group of possible movesets of either DM or DW, not its own pokemon.

Been said that, Ultra Necro hitting AG is a very real possibility. If P-Groudon gets the boot then DM is automatically the new best pokemon in the tier and the next on the line.

You do know it's S rank because it beats most of the old Ubers Meta right? Those weaknesses don't matter much because of Prism Armor. Primal Groudon is pretty much it's main counter as Yveltal gets destroyed by SSS.

Good point. It just looks really good on paper with 167 attack/spa, and it's bulk is just okay. Primals are much easier to use.

Still a cool mon, though. At least USUM gave Necrozma a really fucking good signature move that helps boost him up a bit in terms of usability.

Dream Radar legends are easy to catch and have the hidden abilities. You just have to get lucky or manipulate RNG for a good nature.

Plus I wasn't specifically hoping for a good nature Ho-Oh. I just had a happy surprise.
