Doggo is weird, it's amazing to deal with shit like volcarona and is actually scary at +2, but being able to secure the +2 is a different story. It's incredibly frail and has a bad defensive typing. It reminds me a lot of weavile actually, having similar stats with less sp.def and speed. Weavile gets to run riot with it's speed tier though ice is still a fantastic offensive typing and provides great utility in pursuit trapping. sadly 110 is average in terms of a sweeper with the bulk of lycanroc and it just simply isn't threatening without its boost. if the meta shifts to one where volcarona is everywhere then maybe it'll get prominent use? But there are many top tier mons that take a direct fucking shit on him, so if anything he'll take a dive into d-tier.

i'll give it credit, it looks like a solid pick for UU though which is more than I ever expected.

Basically Tough Claws makes Lycanroc a complete package and gives all its coverage moves the extra oomph it really needed. Also Accelerock is an amazing attack

Lycanroc needs to switch in and set up Swords Dance you dumbass. That's 2 turns letting Toxapex do anything. And even assuming it wastes a turn using Haze!and Drill Miss hits, Scald severaly cripples it even without burning. The Toxapex just switches into a Physically bulky Pokemon after 1 scald.
And that's assuming:
>It doesn't use Knock Off or Scald on switch
>Scald doesn't burn while using Swords Dance
>Drill Run doesn't miss or Landorus-T isn't just sent out
You're better off with literally any other check in OU.

You aren't setting up Swords Dance on Toxapex, retard, you force a switch(like against Heatran or Zapdos) and set up when Toxapex is switching in. It is pretty unreliable because you cannot afford to mispredict, which is why Lycanroc is probably no more than C- worthy, but you cannot dismiss a Pokémon by describing scenarios that literally don't happen.

On a side note, Stomping Tantrum is much better than Drill Run simply because it can't miss, the power difference is minimal and it can punish faggots if Stone Edge misses and you manage to survive.

Looks like a neat tech for offense, but I can't see it going higher than C. Accelerock is very useful, but it doesn't switch into anything and it's going to struggle to set up SD. You could say the same about M-Pinsir or Weavile, but the former has an arguably better STAB and more power behind it while Weavile has two very good STABs and a great speed tier.
