Honestly, XY doesn't get enough credit.
I've just replayed it again after a while and I'm loving it so much more than SM/USUM

>no lags
>triple/rotation battles
>extravagant french-european style architecture
>huge assortment of regional Pokemon (way more than USUM even with 80+ less Pokemon)
>better music than Gen 7
>vast array of clothing customization (not version exclusives + being able to favorite 6 outfits)
>bike
>Lumiose loop for easy egg hatching or Route 7
>BENCHES
>etc.

XY is interesting because the region does change seasonally as you play through it. First areas are spring, then you get to summery beach part, move to ghostly autumn areas, and end in the winter towm
