If you're one of the many people who don't care about the battle frontier ORAS were great. Redesigned Maxie and Archie were a godsend.

Diamond. Before I played it I looked up the species beforehand and made a team to work towards. Halfway through I realised that playing it that way felt like a chore and while the gameplay improved after discarding that approach, didn't quite feel the same. I went in as blind as I could into BW, and it became one of my best Pokemon experiences to date. Gen IV still holds a special place for me, so to play it again and do it justice would be great.
