I prefer Cyber Sleuth but that being said, its funny as fuck that Digimon games are making a small, but heavy, comeback while Pokemon games are stagnant.

Not that surprising since Digimon for the most part doesn't have a ''main series'', so you get a lot more of variety, which gives them a lot of chances to hit a good game that attracts people, while pokemon's main series has keep pretty much the same formula that they had from the beginning, and apart from pokken, we haven't got a real spinoff in a LONG time.

While I agree I don't like Appmon that much, there is no denying it ended uo getting a cult following, Albiet for Yaoi reasons, but literally nothing makes Sun & Moon stand out except for the negatively received art style and Ash's harem.
