What would be your feelings if Pokemon gave up on the leveling system and went full rock-paper-scissors? Not only with the Pokemon types, but going more in depth with the stats and the Pokemon species themselves.

I feel like the leveling up is what pulls me away from the series the most, and I'd rather spending time on catching 'em all and actually consider the meta than beating Elite 4 with only my buffed starter.

Am I alone here? Is a bad idea?
