but this is a poor image because Metroid was remade and it's remake is universally seen as the definitive version, and Super Mario World was rereleased for a handheld making it more portabke and thus more convenient

it really didnt. Soaring was pointless as fuck and the Delta Episode was legit the most retarded thing in pokemon. On top of introducing the most rage inducing NPC in the game, they also denounced Deoxys's status as a hard to get pokemon and into something literally anyone can get.

Metroid 1 was remade into Zero Mission and Metroid 2 into Samus Returns. I haven’t played 1 and 2 in years though so I personally don’t recall the exact differences beyond graphical updates and Zero Mission’s Chozodia shit.

Why would we get a sequel when we already have one?? Another remake is more likely because ORAS exists therefore the Generation 3 engine has been deemed outdated making our last actual romp through Kanto up for being remade.
