>>34489322How about Illuminate drops accuracy on the Pokemon you switch into, like Intimidate, but lowers your own Pokemon evasion if they have it. Because it wouldn't be that hard to miss a huge glowing target.
So against the Pokemon with Illuminate, it would sort of balance itself out fine, it's the other Pokemon that switch in that would be the problem for the opponent if they don't switch out to reset the stat changes. Or in a 2v2 match, it's the partner you'd need to worry about while the Illuminator is fucking around. Maybe glasses type hold items would actually block the accuracy drop, even.
