Why is it taboo to play a 3DS or a Switch in public? Why doesn't that standard apply to mobile games on an IPhone or Android? Aren't they essentially the same thing?
asking because recently i was at a friend's house, she was taking care of some business and it was going to be about an hour or two until she finished, so i pull out my 3ds and play some pokemon. her father comes by, calls me a faggot, then goes to play some shit mobile game like clash of clans while leaving the room. it became really awkward, so i put the 3ds away and resorted to sitting, doing nothing for the next hour and thirty minutes. why the fuck is it so taboo?
