Steelworker staka is OP. It can OHKO some Lando-T even at minus 1.

Celesteela with flashfire is pretty OP, maybe heatproof instead since it is a fucking rocket

Motordrive would not fit xurkitree at all as a name, so renaming it is alright.
Magic Guard doesn't need to be renamed.

Merciless Naganadel and Precision Strike Kartana would be cool as shit.

Devourer might actually save Guzzlord too.

Adaptability would actually be extremely good on it. It now has more immediate power and doesn't need shit IVs in defense anymore because it doesn't have beastboost, giving it more survivability.

Only problem is that adaptability doesn't boost Stak's EQ or super power, which is absolutely needs to break through its checks and steel types in particular (adaptability does mean it doesn't need EQ for Toxapex since Stone Edge would be equal in power though).

We're talking about stakataka, we're talking about a (usually 150bp) STAB attack boosted by 50% because of steelworker. This isn't the same as a limp dick unboosted coverage move that HAS to be super effective to break through a wall.

Is not that it is a steel-type move, it's the fact that staka would barely even need another attacking move at all if it had this. And you're lucky it doesn't get heavy slam.

both heavy slam and gyro ball max out at 150bp, and stakky is so slow it's going to hit almost everything for 150 and the things it doesn't resist gyro ball hard anyway like Pex and Ferro.

Given that the discussion is about Stakataka and JUST Stakataka this seems irrelevant. Being steel type is NOT a big enough penalty to make steelworker Stakataka not crazy.

Heavy slam has more PP than gyro ball tho, which makes it harder to PP-stall. Even then, staka can just set TR to go first.

I Don't know why you'd have to say this as if TR Stakataka is uncommon when it's literally her only viable set. Also Stak would never run both heavy slam and gyro ball because all the things gyro ball doesn't hit very strongly are things that resist it regardless, and OU is full of heavy pokemon that don't take shit from heavy slam. Plus Stak also needs both its stabs, TR, and a coverage move. she can't double up on types the way Blacephalon might run flamethrower AND mind blown.

Considering that Stak has a 150bp steel move and that Kartana has a 70bp steel move and totally different coverage that makes its steel move sometimes redundant, and that steelworker is a multiplicative boost, I'm gonna say that Staka benefits a lot more than Kartana. Honestly steelworker Stakataka still beats the things it beats now, still doesn't beat the things it can't beat now, and now can't even break through things with beast boosts.

I would argue that alot would be better with different abilities and would give others some sort of niche.

Precision Strike Kartana would be a better scarf revenge killer. (Crit knock off and smart strike always)
Nihilego would greatly appreciate immunity to ground moves.
Flashfire/ Heatproof Celesteela would be better.
Specs/Scarf Magic Guard Blace would br able to spam Mind Blown
Guzzlord really needs something better since BB is shit on it.
Etc.

Naganadel is def. worse without BB though, unless the abilty is something crazy like protean, or speedboost.

Competitive is usually given to beautiful mons like Milotic, Mold Breaker doesn't have a clear theme, I would imagine it could break the mold with its root wires and I wanted something more original and useful than a generic Electric immunity ability.
Hyper Cutter isn't too bad because it avoids Intimidate drops.

It definitely does want to stay against Landorus-T or Gyarados(arguably the two most common Intimidate users), but sometimes will struggle to get a kill or setup a second SD to bypass the drop. Hyper Cutter fixes this. Besides I didn't want to give outright better abilities to those who can already use Beast Boost well.

For one, on switch in Stak would almost always be the fastest mon on the field. Once TR runs out it could just switch out and come back later. Also, without beastboost, there's no point in running shit IVs on def and minus def natures, so that gives it somewhat more survivability.

It's not the fact that he's a revenge killer that's bad. It's the fact that it outspeeds and kills almost everything. The thing with Stak now is that TR can be stalled out with protect or other stuff and Stak always takes a hit before setting up, making it relatively easy to wear down.
With auto TR it literally just comes in and OHKOs shit. The only possible counters would be prankster Willowisp and really defensive mons, which it can just switch out of since it doesn't fear losing its TR.

Nah, there would be faster. Shuckle, Pyukumuku and the possible new form of Dialga that'll come with the Sinnoh remakes (similar to the Primals from ORAS) will be faster, and using Trick Room temporarily returns the dimensions to normal.

If I had to use pre-existing abilities and specifically pick ones for flavor rather than for competitive use, I'd pick:

Nihilego and Naganadel should both get Levitate.

Buzzwole should have Guts. Phromosa should have Quick Feet as a mirror to Guts.

That Kartana ability is stupid as hell, give it Hyper Cutter so Lando and other Intimidators doesn't fuck it as hard. Celesteela should have Heavy Metal so it Heavy Slams are heavier.

Don't know what to do for Xurkitree but I don't think Motor Drive would save it since unlike Electivire, it doesn't learn any moves it can use to fuck up enemy electric types once it switches in (Electivire at least gets Earthquake). Maybe just give it something to increase its accuracy a bit so it can spam Thunder instead of Thunderbolt? How about No Guard?

That Guzzlord thing you made is sorta cool but I don't think it will save it. Make it heal 25% per hazard removed, now it might have the longevity to keep switching in.

Multistack is kinda dumb and a third clone (we already have Multiscale and Shadow Shield) so I suggest giving it Solid Rock

Blacephalon should have Aftermath

Idk, I like Precision Strike the most among the abilities listed. An attack drop won't matter if Kartana crits on the intimidate mon's switch.
Guzzlord would absolutely need that hp from switching.
Motor drive xurkitree could be good against volt switch magearna and really good for doubles.
Stak should have adaptability and Blace should have something like innards out instead so that even if it killsnitself with mindblown, it does even more damage.
