If only it had gotten Friend Guard instead of Healer. I think a support mega could have worked, and Audino had the right movepool to do it, it just fell short.

So it means the 80% people out there who thinks Vanilluxe is literally sentient ice cream is blatantly wrong, stupid, and deluded, and saying that the design is ugly/not creative is purely subjective.
After all in-game lore for the species and Casteliacone suggest that the cone-shaped ice-cream in pokemon world was based on the icicle creature, not otherwise. The opposite applies to stuff like Slurpuff, which is canonically, literally named 'Meringue Pokemon" and people ignore it just because "its cute" or "it has doge features in it, so it is not literal food".

As a Gen 5 fan and admitting it's my favorite Gen, I wish both the fans and haters would just let go of it, alongside the trash bag and gears line. There are tons of actual fan favorite Gen 5 mons that need more attention and, keeping on topic, would've been better picks for the first Gen 5 mega.
Chandelure for example is very popular, especially in Japan

The vast majority of objectmons, including Voltorb and Magnemite, were not intentionally created by humans. There are a few exceptions (like Porygon and Magearna) but most just spontaneously start existing as a byproduct of human tech or moon x-rays or something. How that's any different from an icicle evolving to look like ice cream is beyond me.
