I quit pokemon gen 3 because it was subpar in all regards in comparison to other ips, even other monster ips.

>crappy visuals
>shitty chipset
>uninteresting visuals

Yet when another ip gets a hold of pokemon
>walk cycles, hit, attack and more complex animations for all 386 pokemon at the time
>beautifully rendered world
>good music
>actual story
>good art direction

The writing is on the wall, game freak is a bunch of lazy fucks who don't car about making a good product; if they were any other Nintendo subsidiary they would have been flamed to hell and back.

Why doesn't anyone here see this?

Also is it true that many people here only play pokemon?
If so, that's fucking horrifying; they have no bench mark of quality
