Yes, there will be 2 new games on the Switch BUT your phone will have some kind on involvement in this. There will be an app on your phone called the PokeCare which will allow you to transfer a Pokemon to your phone. It will level up, you can encounter rare Pokemon, you can pet it, feed it and raise its affection. (like in Pokemon-Amie and Pokemon Refresh). This option will not be available on the switch though.
