Even if we had some better exploration, I wouldn't be able to enjoy it.
They'd find some excuse to hide any of the hundreds of items, probably the TMs, in the deeper reaches and sidecoves, so I wind up exploring them all out of obnoxious necessity rather than any desire to see what was around the corner.
It doesn't feel like a reward for exploring, just another stepping stone in a fucking landslide.
