Poffins are for Sinnoh, Hoenn has PokeBlocks, Kalos has Poke Puffs and Alola has Poke Beans.
I understand that, but that is regional tastes, when you start pulling out things like Pokemon following you as a regional thing, Secret Bases, and little things like that as regional tastes.
We still have Secret Power, we also have the potential to have places to just put them in, and even following Pokemon, they almost added it in Sun and Moon but had no time to do it.
It is just annoying. All of it is annoying, because they do this, and pile in new features that seem convoluted and annoying.
Like Poke Finder, the weird photo take they do in USUM, the Pokemon you can interact with, and it feels just thrown in.
None of it feels necessary, like it would be necessary to immerse you into it, and just something you can ignore and it will not affect you.
