Too risky. Unless your team is made of fucking paper you should have one or two switch ins to these moves which means an entirely free turn which means winning the entire fucking game. Unless your Pokemon has so few moves, or such good dual stabs that you can justify running both a normal stab attack AND your hyper beam clone.

As >>34515364 said, even if Hyper Beam and its clones had no recharge if you knocked out a Pokemon, an opponent can easily predict this, switch out to a Pokemon that resists the attack, and destroy your entire team in one swoop because every Pokemon seem to be speedy, tanky cannons at this point.
