The decision to add more ultra beasts but not Alola forms was really disappointing to me. There are 10 lines that got Alola forms and most of them were middling or exacerbated the Pokémon existing weaknesses.

Raticate got a quadruple fighting weakness, Persian is now a shit special attacker rather than physical, Dugtrio got a wig and a signature ability it doesn't have the stats to make use of, and they gave Executor dragon typing, a signature move and then robbed it of fucking chlorophyll.

Oh and Raichu is locked into an ability it likely won't get to use due to being redundant on a team with the only electric surge user.

They should have just given us 10 more. There are 48 Mega evolutions - half came in X/Y, the game which introduced mega evolution, and the other half came in the remakes of a Gen 3 game.

Yet they have the fucking kahunas to release sun and moon 2.0 and not expanding on a fucking feature the original titles introduced.
