The FUNi dub of Z was really bad, too, but that doesn't make the Canadian dub any better- they still replaced literally all the OST, too.
Both DBZ dubs are actually worse than the Pokémon dubs on the basis of effing over the OST completely in the first place, Pokémon has never done that, and the Canadian/Saban dub censored just like 4Kids and TPCi did with Pokémon, to boot.
DB Kai and DB Super, those have good dubs, they were made in America and we even got Brian Drummond back for copy Vegeta in DB Super dub, Canadian Vegeta- we've gotten better at dubbing without the rednecks involved in scripting, no more dub music, Americanization shit etc., but New York is still the worst of the worst these days at producing dubs even in America. The only good dubber in NYC is now NYAV Post, who barely dubs anything these days- the sad truth.
(That said, I'm sure Canada and Britain would do a better dub of Pokémon than what TPCi produces in America nowadays, and most of Ocean Group dubs outside of DBZ are great- although, the Canadian dub of Z had good VAs, I'll give you that).
