Will it ever get continued? Ash is such a shit character. And I fucking loved the battle style of this Anime. The mainstream Pokemon series is like fucking Dragonball Z, they drag out fights like a motherfucker.

They should make a full-blown TV series out of this. Ash is a worn-out, character that can't be developed further. What they should have done is start off every new region with a new MC, but it's too late.
If they start with a new TV series, they can sell new merchandise about older Generations with new characters.

The battle style was fucking boring wtf

It's effectively summerized as two Pokémon standing in one place and punching each other. For all the ashime's faults, it has fun fight scenes.

Origins sequels wouldn't be focused on Charizard but it would have to do Charizard for the Red battle, subsequent sequels wouldn't have a valid reason. Is one episode really too much if origins kept going?

Only watched mega evo, the other 2 I don't watch because I'm more sick of Ash so I'd rather a new anime with other characters

I'll even take adventures

Red's started in promotional artbook, tie-in books and merchandise

Charizard gets to be animated because it's easier to aniamte and draw. One of Sugimori's regrets was that and hates drawing Venusaur.

Nope. Bulbasaur was his THIRD pokemon. His starter was a Poliwag. Then he caught a Nidorino and gave it away. Bulbasaur, while a 'starter' was his third.

Venusaur design is fine, I like it, but it has too many details one cannot ignore to stay faithful to the original design even in simplified art styles.

He shouldn't continue to make Venusaur detailed. He could redesign it or make it simpler.

People should know where to stop.

He could let Nishida do Venusaur. She made Squirtle, Pikachu and Charmander lines and all these were fan-favorite while Bulbasaur went to ignore-hell because Sugimori failed as a designer.

"Starter Pokemon" is the pokemon that people starter their pokemon journey with.

Red owned Poliwag but he wasn't a pokemon trainer, he literally went to Oak to begin his journy so Bulbasaur is technically is "his" starter.
