I'm replaying through this game, what should my team be? I'm gonna box my starter and use exclusively Unova Pokemon. I know I want to use Galvantula, Krookodile, & Chandelure. But what other three Unova Pokemon should I try?

excadrill, darmanitan, scrafty, amoonguss, ferrothorn, haxorus, mienshao, hydreigon and volcarona are all pretty good

if you can trade, conkeldurr and escavalier are nice too

Sadly I cannot trade, I have thought about using Mienshao but IIRC Mienfoo isn't caught until like level 49ish. By that point I want my full team. Same goes for the other ones that take too long to evolve, but Ferrothorn is a cool choice I'll pick it up.

Both Joltik and Litwik are mid game but Litwik is easy to train as Audino can't hurt it at all.

Lillipup is a good early game choice until you find someone to replace it with. Hits hard with early take down and you also get the Return TM early. The fossils are postgame in BW2 so you'll have to trade for them if you want to use them. I had a good time with Sawsbuck, tho the Deerling portion sucks as its slow and frail. Sigilyph can be caught before Elesa and has solid stats that last for the whole portion of the game.

If you have Dream Radar you can get some cool pokemon even before the first gym like Slowpoke, Beldum, Hoothoot and others.

I don't know if Dream Radar is still on eshop but it shouldn't be expensive.

It's still there. I recently was going through e-shop just because and saw it there. I never once tried it it, is it fun? Can you choose what Pokemon to get? I'll give it a try though. Just lost in the first rival battle ahah.

It's not really fun but it gets the job done. You can pick one of the three I mentioned since they're from a special course in Dream Radar (look on serebii), but every other pokemon its random.

Playing B2 myself, my team so far is krokorok, joltik, and koffing withbfive badges at the moment. Thinking of dropping koffing, it does decent damage with poison gas and venoshock but it's starting to fall behind. I played white not too long ago so I used most of my top gen 5 favorites there and finding other favorites that isn't a late game pokemon has been a hassle.
