She shouldn't have been the champion in the first place, but I will admit that she ended up having the coolest champion's room in the series, and one of the best battle themes in the series. So in the end, I'd say she's in the top 50% of champions at least.

I started replaying B2 last night, just did the sewer sequence. IIRC she doesn't do much else but she's alright as a Champion. She could be worse. Fucking hated her in the anime though.

She's great. Way better than Alder, who comes across as a lazy, irresponsible vagabond. He does have an interesting backstory with how one of his Pokemon died and he never got in the groove again (and this implies why N beat the shit out of him so easily) but the way it's revealed by Ghetsis backs him pretty shallow, desu
Iris doesn't have much of a backstory either, but she has a lot of promise.
Can't wait for the BW1 and 2 remakes to improve both of them

You know what I mean, he's the equivalent to a champ, I think it's cool that he loves Pokemon and Alola so much that he sets up an entire league then acts as the final pillar against the player. He was also really fucking hard, I only won because my Wishiwashi kept surviving hits.

Odd choice for champion, but a really memorable one. She's very different from the usual champion, her music is uplifting and pumps you up and the battle background is great too.
Way better than Alder in any case.

Completely out of place especially after Gen VI with the introduction of Fairy type, which is the closest we've seen to G1's Psychic type.
Elite 4 and Gym Leaders shouldn't be champions because their teams are forced to have a type theme. Especially now that Dragon-types are no longer rare, end-game bruisers but relatively common.
