Why even bother anymore? If nothing drastically changes and GFs keep going where they are going I might not even buy the next games. I only played USUM because I pirated it and even still I could barely make it to the end, had to force myself because I didn't have anything better to do.

What is it about Po Town? I stopped playing for a bit in moon at Po town. In my ultra moon I'm right before Po town but decided to get my festival plaza to 84 instead of progressing.

I don't even know what I don't like about it. I like team skull or their hats at least, I like Guzma and I like the general concept. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is how ridiculous it would be for a nation of islands to allow these guys to occupy a whole townsworth of their precious landmass.

Po Town is ugly, boring, and frustrating. It's a small area that takes a while to get through because the road leading up to the shady house is just a hallway of inconveniences. It's not a puzzle, but a series of holes to crawl through that always lead to another repetitive battle. A lot of the grunts have extended dialogue cutscenes which is fucking stupid; I feel like we should only be getting a mouthful from Guzma. To be fair, I usually hate all of the bad guy hideouts in every generation, but this one felt especially sluggish and it made me put down my 3DS for about six months.

Never happens in Kanto. Too much nostalgia, and the games are relatively short.
Either Olivine or after beating the Elite 4 in Johto.
After beating Norman.
Floaroma town.
In BW, it's Twist Mountain and the route just before it. In BW2, I usually don't make it past the desert.
Shortly after reaching Lumiose City.

I've beaten all the games several times, but the newer the game, the harder it is for me to replay it. I think it's mostly because the games have more cutscenes and I end up getting bored by spamming A to get through them.

FRLG - Sliph Co building in Saffron, long, annoying music, tons of weak trainers that don't feel fun to beat but you still feel bad for skipping due to free exp
HGSS - after I beat the league for the first time, I don't think I went through the entire Kanto more than 3 times in total
Emerald - nothing I can think of, then again it's my favorite Pokemon game
Platinum - haven't replayed in a very long time
BW/BW2 - Castelia City, I hate the whole "big central city that's annoying as fuck to navigate" trend these games have started
XY - that city with the windmills
SM/USUM - the first island is the hardest to stomatch for obvious reasons

I will say that the majority of games that came out I put a good amount of time in, but there was a few I more or less got bored with and never finished completely:

>Crystal: Around Pallet Town, got bored due to the lack of changes.
>Emerald: Got most of the silver Battle Frontier medals and quit
>B/W: Beat the story and pretty much stopped playing it for a year, only started playing again when BW2 was close to come out.
>ORAS: After beating the game and the Emerald chapter. Least amount of time I have put into a recent Pokemon game.
>Ultra Sun and Moon: Beat the game. Planning on going back and doing some of the side stuff later, but have other games to play right now.

You don't like it because your autistic headcanon rejects the 'realism' of them having a home base? I'd argue Team Skull being a group of miscreants and thugs who've taken over their own town and use it to laze around all day is way more plausible than, just to name an example, Team Rocket publicly occupying an entire corporation, or Team Galactic nuking a lake yet still being allowed to keep an active headquarters in the middle of town.

Fuchsia City always gets me, just because usually I reach Fuchsia from bike path, so I know I have to deal with Routes 15 - Lavender Town, which is the longest slog of trainer encounters in the game with pretty much no reward outside Exp, there's no gym or anything waiting at the end

This is based on my experience on the latests playthroughs.

Kanto: The water routes to Cinnabar island if not the routes before Fuchsia City.
Johto: Ilex Forest or just after beating Whitney.
Hoenn: Route 119.
Sinnoh: Everything about Sinnoh is "that park", I seriously never attempted to replay it again, I regretted buying Platinum in fact.
Unova: the route before chargestone cave, and the cave itself, it may have pretty tiles, but caves are borin imo anyway.
Kalos: I didn't even bother replaying it and I wanted to drop the game at the fucking shitty desert.
Alola: the games here have no replayability at all, and I liked SM a lot, but yeah no way in hell I'm going through that again.

I think it's because pretty much half of the fucking game takes place after you get the seventh gym badge. It makes you feel like you've come a long way, but you've really just scratched the surface, and now it's time to spend an eternity surfing around one city. I just put down alpha sapphire about a week ago after getting to mossdeep.

Most interesting thing about it is picnickers/campers and birdkeepers being close to each other despite that sounding like near chaos for both sides
