>>34547379Piggybacking off of this post, Mewtwo was resurrected from a Mew Fossil in the movie. Which is strange because that implies that Mew, aka stem cell embryo ball is NOT life incarnate and can in fact die and reproduce despite being of Mythical Legendary status. So a revived Mew ended up as a Mewtwo on purpose or by accident (if Ditto is anything to go by, look it up before debating)
The Genesect lore points toward deliberate modifications. This might be the case for both Mewtwo and Genesect but it is confirmed for only one of them.
Fossil restoration that gives results but fails in terms of authenticity is strange because it is technically one of the newest Pokemon ever discovered, by being separate from its source material.
They wanted to use Gen 1 to reflect that they have interesting technology in this world but it does in fact backfires. Potentially more than it succeeds and nothing is guaranteed to complete its predicted use/function
>Pokeball vs Masterball>Bill’s Pokemon fusion>Ditto and Mewtwo “birthed” from Mew>Fossil restoration being inconsistent in dex entries and NPC commentaryI thought of more the other day but this is what I can recall. Anyone think they can add more?
