This is more technical then anything but encountering pokemon in the over world forces them to needlessly make the world streched out and it would be way too difficult make them scale correctly. Also messes with the tall grass thing makes it actually a lot quicker to find pokemon.
Pokemon will never change the core battle mechanics.
Pro convenience is at way too high you could just breeding and the like makes gerting strong pokemon take time which it should. Especially if add something like a nature changer it should be like the ability changer 200 bp no less.
31 in all stats is already very easy and you only need 5 you dont need a golem with 31 sp.atk
Shinies are already worthless and too easy too get.
The reason air ballon exist he ground is kinda op and other could make pokemon op. Same with the berries some pokemon are that op especially pokemon with one weakness. Also knock off is already on almost every team it would become mandatory.
Keep everything else and buff weaker pokemon make there niches actually work.
