1. DP remakes or better yet, sequels

2. A good Battle Frontier

3. Cool customization unlikely but ideal with customizable features

4. Either a battling game for the Switch or a side story game a la Orre series. In any case ideally powered by Genius Sonirity.

5. retconing Z-moves out of existence

sexual fantasy tier: retconing Gengar into Levitate or making Talonflame's Gale Wings useful again, and Fairy into just resisting Dragon

Dark is good as it is.
Light is encompassed by Electric, Fighting and Psychic as well. Type advantage of Fairy against Dark must deal with something along the lines of light banishing shadows or virtue over evil.

The other strenghts and weaknesses for Dark make sense too. Bugs' evolutionary processes are fast and they are adapted to nightlife and dark environments so it makes sense for them to be adapted to be strong against a type that mainly dwells in the night and the dark, and is the embodiment of darkness itself.

Darkness also is said to corrupt and destroy souls, hence the advantage against Ghost, and darkness is a common fear of the mind, hence the advantage over Psychic. Taking it further, demons are also a common fear.

The point is what we'd like to see, not if they'll disappoint us or not. This said, I'd still be mildly satisfied if we don't get all things I said but we get some good ones.

Gengar can't be poisoned and it doesn't give a shit about being burned but it really could use those three immunities to common physical moves

He doesn't benefit too much from Grass because he won't take many hits any way.
