Unfortunately, their was a Masalada accident at the Masalada plant when Guzzlord (then undiscovered at the time) came in and stole all the Masaladas. Mr Mah Salada went after the creature, swearing vengence for his stolen Masaladas. Even now Mr Mah Salada traverses the Multi Verse after Guzzlord to avenge his Masaladas, and will make a special appearance in Gen 8 as a random Multi Dimensional trainer, who gives out Masaladas.
