Not exactly. There's a lot of Unovamon that are intended to be clones of old Pokémon and actually they aren't the same in concept or design, and they have features that bring a breath of fresh air on the franchise.

Munna is literally Drowzee. Of course, not in design, but its lore is literally the same. They could have made an unovan form for Drowzee and they would get exactly Munna.

I always saw Manectric this way prior to it getting a Mega, though the movepool is slightly better than usual. It's literally a fairly generic Electric mammal with THE Electric stat distribution (high speed and Special Attack). Probably only in the game to give Hoenn an Electric type that isn't the Pikaclones or a previous generation mon. It's not terrible, but for a while it did nothing new.
