No, you're right. This game is a blight on the side series. You can count the number of things this game did well on one hand. Super was pretty darn good in comparison so there's hope for MD: Ultra Boogaloo.

Well I hadn’t played it until these past couple days. The sublot with Rampardos having oneitis for Cinccino is legitimately more interesting than the actual story

At least Gates actually had a story, which is more than I can say for Rescue Team.

This anon is right. Rescue Team's story is borderline non-existent and felt more like a series of isolated events. Explorers's characters are shit aside from the episodes, making its superior plot have little to no emotional impact, and Super's is a complete mess.

It's not the best story because it's good. It's the best because it's the only PMD story that isn't bad.
