Only Gigalith and Amoongus is arguably better than their first gen counterpart.
Always hated how Machamp and Poliwrath looked but Conkleduur and Seismitoad are objectively fucking hiedous.
I always felt like the gen V design was rushed as hell, with a lot of good ideas totally wasted.

these guys know what's up. I like these two. THIS is how you do throwback designs--very reminiscent to the old one but with its own concept and quirk. Machamp is my absolute favorite pokemon while Conkeldurr is my second favorite.

I also requested this image from the drawthread. I'm also responsible for probably 70% existing art between these two cool pokemon
