They pretty much would never evolve but a Pokemon game with Megaman Robot Masters, Mavericks, Navis, Reaverbots, and Biometals would be rad as hell. Also I forget what Starforce's things were called but they can join too because some have super cool designs.

Monsters are called Brorrors or Horriors and are caught in VHS Tapes.
They were created by a cache of blockbuster vhs tapes being falling into Radioactive Acid.
The evil team wants to capture the Horriors to re-release them as remakes.

Viridian forest is now a Graveyard.
Mt. Moon is now a Haunted House.
Rock Tunnel is a Hospital/Lab.
Pokemon Tower is a Crashed UFO.
Seafoam Island is Cannibal Island.
The Pokemon Mansion is a Summer Camp.
