Grass starter might be not the best, but you can't deny that they have the best designs and arguably the cutest starters.

while water starters are mostly copy-pastas from real world animals with minimal changes (literal turtle/penguin/frog/Axolotl/sea lion,etc..)

while grass has a dinosaur/frog/plant tribred, a giant assassin lizard, a turtle with a continent on its back, robin hood, a hulk with spiked shield....
