I feel like I'm going crazy, theres another line similar to Slakoth right? As in first form is a thing, second form is totally different, then third form is the thing again.

Surprisingly, there isn't. The two frist stages being similar and the final form being totally different (i.e. dragonair, gengar, toucannon, politoed, bellossom, etc) is much more common.

There's Larvitar which cocoons before becoming a very big Larvitar, rather than becoming something very different such as every early bug mon.

Also, among the lines with a coccoon phase, Venipede and Scolipede are kinda consistent.
I believe there are more like this, but can't remember anything else right now.

Cocoon mons. Some starters do this too, at least with color schemes. Charmeleon, Bayleef, Grovyle, Marshtomp, and Torracat are all outliers that change things midway through the line for some reason.
