The beak is a nice fantasy exaggeration of the thermal control toucans have in their beaks, the line has a subtle but justifiable cannon theme backing to it and its body/tail loosely resemble a barrel cannon/rope. Now say something interesting about this one.

You know what I don't like about this thing? It's just a fucking dog. That's it. They drew a real life dog and made it cartoony. Seriously, it looks like someone took my mom's dog and put it in the game.

Older Pokemon actually had personalities to them. They had quirks that separated them from actual animals.

This one is the literally laziest design of the franchise.

The problem is not being a objectmon. It's literally adding stuff to the old form, and keeping it exactly the same.
Not even a pose change, like Magneton.
Not even an angry face or something like Dugtrio and Dodrio.
It's literally copy pasted.
Even the ice cream line is better than that.

Unova has dozens of good designs, but the bad ones really do stand out, holy shit.

Of course, but something being "interesting" doesn't make it aestetically appealing, it just makes it interesting. Doggo might not be an interesting idea at all, but that doesn't prevent me from liking it.

People here often make arguments about how GF should make some small design changes to some Pokemon to make them better. This is basically what Dusk is for me - an improvement over a design I already liked.
